About Surfside Kids
The Surfside Kids location we’re focusing on today is in Richmond Hill, just a short drive from Savannah. A friend of mine had the opportunity to have Dr. Adam as their dentist! Their experience with him was overwhelmingly positive. Dr. Adam’s calm demeanor, attention to detail, and genuine compassion helped create a dental visit that felt supportive and kind.
Dr. Adam is a dentist passionate about helping children and restoring smiles, sparked by early research on cleft lip and palate at the University of the Pacific and personal dental experiences. He also conducted research at Stanford on maternal-child relationships in multiple sclerosis. After dental school, he served in the U.S. Army for four years, including roles at Fort Bragg and with the 82nd Airborne Division. Dr. Adam has advanced training in cleft care, laser frenectomy procedures, and dental forensics. Most importantly, he is patient, kind and takes his time with kids with accessibility/special needs!
The waiting room is very warm and inviting, with super cute landscapes of the ocean and surfing the waves. A close family member truly enjoyed their experience there and absolutely raved about it! I think it is extremely important to have access to pediatric dentistry that values sensory needs, time for transitions, introducing novel items and dental instruments, cares for parents/caregivers, and more.
